Meaning and Thoughts: basically this means thin when used with an adjective as in さらっとあまい (thin but still sweet) or さらっとおいしい (not too thick, so it tastes good) or some basic meaning like that? The weird thing is that it can also describe a person who is emotionally cold, such as あの人はさらっとしてる ... which I guess is like saying they are emotionally "thin" or something. (Learned this from a box of pear juice!)
